Vineti selected as Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum

Each year, the World Economic Forum welcomes leading early-stage companies from around the world into its Technology Pioneers community. Today, I’m both thrilled and humbled to share the news that Vineti has been named a global Technology Pioneer in the field of Health.

In the World Economic Forum’s own words, its Technology Pioneers develop and deploy “new technologies and innovations, and are poised to have a significant impact on business and society.”

Through the thousands of transformative, personalized cell therapy and gene therapy treatments that Vineti has supported, we know first-hand that our society is undergoing a fundamental pivot towards more individualized medicine. As a leading healthcare start-up, we also know that digital innovation is the only way to open up access to personalized treatments on a global scale.

To have our healthcare technology recognized by the World Economic Forum is both an inspiring validation, and a true honor. We are one of only 10 companies selected in the Health category world-wide in 2019, and the only Tech Pioneer this year working in the field of cell therapy and gene therapy.

If Vineti is new to you, here’s a bit about our mission, our momentum as an emerging healthcare technology, and what we do:

  • We create the essential digital health technology  for advanced personalized treatments such as cell therapy, gene therapy, and personalized cancer vaccines. These advanced therapies target cancer, serious genetic conditions, and a wide range of other disorders.
  • Our technology brings simplicity and patient safety to medicine’s most complex supply chain, helping to deliver the right personalized therapy to the right patient on behalf of our biotech and pharmaceutical clients.
  • As of this year, our software platform will be serving patients and clinicians in hundreds of leading medical centers world-wide.

We are working to standardize and industrialize the underlying healthcare technology systems for personalized therapies, so that these innovations can scale and reach all patients in need.

Over the next two years, our mandate from the WEF is to help shape and contribute to the Forum’s initiatives,  and work to help transform society in the process.  From our starting point of cell therapy and gene therapy technology, we’re very excited to see how we can pitch in.

We also know that we’ll need to keep stepping up.  Fulvia Montresor, Head of Technology Pioneers at the World Economic Forum, said the Forum sees  great potential for digital health innovation such as Vineti “to shape solutions to global challenges and improve society for years to come.” Past WEF recipients range from Google and Kickstarter to Flatiron Health, Foundation Medicine, and bluebird bio.

So we’ll be working harder than ever to make our software platform one of  the most unique, innovative digital health technologies in the world, so that we can help improve the lives of many people. Learn more about our leading software solution, and our company. And please let me know what we can do next to keep driving digital health innovation. Thank you!
